Some of you may already know that I attended class last week to enable me to become a certified Home Buyer Educator.  To make it plain and simple I can conduct the workshop sessions and issue certificates needed for Grant and Bond programs. 

We basically we are going to start two different programs.  A slow track Home Buyers club that will last  6 months.

Each month we will present a different topic starting with:
Month One:  Orientation and are you ready to buy a home:
Month Two: Managing your money
Month Three: Understanding Credit
Month Four: Applying for and obtaining a mortgage loan.
Month Five: Shopping for a home
Month Six: Protecting your investment after closing

These classes will last approximately 2 hours and we will hold an extra orientation session once a month so anyone wishing to join will fit right into the sessions.

We will have credit councillors at each session coming in half an hour earlier  and staying half an hour later to help those who want and need help in working on and raising their credit score.

We will have a meeting and seminar once a month and working with block sessions starting with an orientation.  

 This Slow track session will be for those who need help with their credit and also want to take their time before purchasing a home.

The second program is for those of you who have a credit score of a 620 and above we will either enroll you with Fort Worth,  TCHP and CCS  or we if we have enough participants will set up our own class where we will graduate students on a monthly basis with 4 once a week 2 hour sessions in the evenings and for those who cannot attend on a Saturday.  These sessions will be called Fast Track sessions.

If you really want to obtain your dream of home ownership than be prepared to work hard and become the number one member in your team. Those completing the course will be given a Voucher giving you $50 off your home Inspection.  Once we know where the most applicants are located we will decide on a Venue most likely somewhere in the Arlington, Grand Prairie area.
